UDL and its Challenges
Universal Design for Learning or UDL applies this general idea to learning: that curriculum should, from the outset, be designed to accommodate all kinds of learners. Educators have to be deliberate in the teaching and learning process in the classroom
There may be educators that don’t find use in this or don’t want to waste their time trying to learn it. They may be already set in their ways of PD or sharing the information and think that this is useless to them.
The best way to overcome this is to provide support on how to implement this in their own UDL framework and how it can help with their teaching and not seem like extra work to do.
